We love coming to hang out here! We are regulars and Lisa is the most amazing bartender ever! It would be amazing if you guys did a bike night!

Best cheese sticks, mozzarella sticks I've ever had. Period. Pizza was top notch, too. Bar atmosphere, but suitable for families (including our 4yr old). We had great service, too. It all adds up to a place we will definitely visit again.

TAVERN 61… fantastic food with great portions served with cold beer and great vibes. Best tenderloin in the state of Iowa. Pizza is dynamite. Blue Grass is lucky to have this joint. Pool table and friendly local patrons is a super bonus!

Stopped here for the first time just passing through, I believe it was Christmas eve. I had a great time relaxing and shooting the bull with the regulars. I ordered some food and now I am absolutely hooked on their pizza, it is incredible, I have been back several times since and will make a special trip just to eat here. I love the environment as well, has a true american small town bar vib and I absolutely dig it. Highly recommend!

Definitely put this on your “places to eat” list ! It was so refreshing starting right from start. Our amazing bartender/server , Lisa, welcomed us. She very quickly came to table to greet us and got drinks fast. She told us about what this place was known for - one of those items was their mozzarella sticks, which are freshly made and battered to order. Amazeballs ! A must while you are there. Anyways - let’s just say amazing !

I haven't had such great service in a very long time! Lisa was amazing! The palomas were tooooooo good! The chicken steips, onion rings and mozzarella sticks were honestly the best I've ever had! So glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem!
